Another tale from the stunning Caribbean isles of Honduras... we are a 7 days and a 50 percent in to our thirty day period journey and to be truthful we just don't want to go house! We are continuing our journey alongside the north coast and remaining the lovely beaches of Tela on Wednesday. I would recommend anybody browsing there to seem up Garifuna excursions and to certainly plan in a journey to the wonderful Punta Izopo Wildlife reserve.

We took in the town lifestyle of La Ceiba for a couple of nights remaining at the lovely The Quinta Genuine resort. The support was fantastic, as was the meals. I would also suggest La Plancha steak home for any carnivores it was 100% worth the check out. I can't get more than what incredible price Honduras is, we have stayed in other locations in the Caribbean and I am positive there is no way you can get low-cost beach residences with this degree of luxury wherever else in the Caribbean.

We arrived in Trujillo on Friday and stopped off on the seaside highway for a bite to try to eat at Rogue Galleria. The burgers were great and the staff was welcoming, it is a disgrace my Spanish is so very, quite undesirable, as it would have been a good opportunity for a chat. Following stop was Banana Seaside, where we will be staying for the next week.

So what can I say about Banana Seaside? We are loving it so considerably! The resort is modest and secluded, a few two mattress cabanas and 'The Mystic' bar and cafe. It's great following all of our trekking around Tela to be in a position to relax and have a 7 days by the beach front. Talking of the beach front, it is gorgeous. The area is pretty undeveloped so you have practically nothing blocking your view of the shoreline or the bay. Yesterday we took an prolonged seashore stroll up to Santa Fe, stopping at a handful of watering holes alongside the way, which was heaps of enjoyable. We stopped at El Caballero and experienced some wonderful fish. The restaurant was rather rustic but the foodstuff was delightful, as were the mystery cocktails.

Newport Beach Lilac farm bulldog am a little bit of a foodie so one of the most significant draws Banana Beach had was its incredible foodstuff reviews. The menu is fairly thematic the chef Juergen (fantastic male) is a whiz with Tex-Mex, Spanish, Italian, French and of training course Caribbean so there is a lot to decide on from. My initial night I needed to go for anything a little bit diverse so I opted for the Conch Seviche, a local dish, which is shellfish, salad and dressing. It really is truly straightforward to overcook the conch, but this was amazing. Soon after being impressed by a very good old chin-wag with Rand the owner who hails from Texas this afternoon I thinking about a Tex-Mex alternative. I have been certain that even traditional Tex-Mex dishes like Burritos have a Honduran twist, so I am hunting forward to it.
