Microsoft today announced that the Steam Deck Xbox games list has been extended to include 11 well-known Xbox-published titles now verified or playable on Valve's platforms. Although the list doesn't include the Steam Deck Halo Infinite compatibility that Microsoft had wanted, it does include Fable and Gears Tactics as well Minecraft Dungeons and all other non-FPS Halo titles.

PCGamesN revealed yesterday that there are more than 22,000 Steam Deck Verified (or Playable) games, however there are still about 1,000 games that aren't supported. Some of the games that are not supported include major Xbox games such as Halo Infinite or Gears 5, due to issues with Easy Anti-Cheat.

While it's possible for Xbox Games Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream Xbox games on Steam Deck but anyone who wants to download them onto Steam Deck is not able to do so in most instances. It's a good thing for those who want to download them, as Xbox Games Studios today reveals another batch of Steam Deck compatible games - that unfortunately doesn't include the latest Halo or Gears games, however, it does include Halo Wars, Gears Tactics, Minecraft Dungeons, and the sole major Fable game available on PC.
